Meet the Team

Dr. Charles E. Pick has been practicing dentistry for over 37 years and has been serving in Tuscon as a dentist for over nine years. He received his undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in 1983 and later went on to receive his master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1985. Continuing education is important to Dr. Pick, and he attends over 72 hours of additional training every three years. He has received special certification for orthodontics and myofascial pain treatment. Dr. Pick’s goal as a dentist is to provide superior dental care in a friendly manner and treat patients as he would like to be treated.

Dr. Pick is married to his wife Sandra, and they have two granddaughters who are his treasures! Dr. Pick is a drummer and enjoys this hobby.

Sonia joined our team in March of 2014, when our practice first opened. She is a proud Tucson High School graduate and enjoys working with our team and the unique setting at our office. She loves our patients and meeting their needs in the best way possible. Sonia is the first person our patients see when they come in for their appointments and the last when they leave. Patient care is a priority for every single one of us so making sure our patients are comfortable and that they understand any procedures that are being performed, with everything explained and all questions answered, is our main goal as a team.

When Sonia is not working, she enjoys attending church and spending time with her family.

Rebecca has been a dental hygienist since 2006. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she practiced there for 10 years before moving to other locations, including Florida and Alaska. For over three years, she has been living and working in Arizona. Her favorite aspect of her work is customizing care to meet each patient’s unique needs and ensuring their comfort throughout their visits.

Rebecca has two boys and a cat. She loves exploring new things, visiting new places, and celebrating holidays and special occasions.

Isela’s path to dentistry was driven by a desire to provide top patient care, focusing on teeth to boost both health and confidence through bright, comfortable smiles. Graduating from Carrington College, she showed great promise in the field. Her caring nature extends beyond as she looks after her three younger siblings at home. This experience has instilled in her a deep sense of consideration and respect for others, qualities she aims to bring to Civano Dental Care.
